The article aims to analyze the ethical issues in the current situation in higher education from the perspective of further reforms, as well as to study ethical aspects of teaching general humanitarian disciplines on the border of the forthcoming reform period of the Russian education system after quitting the Bologna system. As a field for research, it is proposed to comprehend the trends in the teaching of general humanitarian disciplines in the education system as a whole and higher education in particular, as well as to analyze the associated ethical issues and errors identified in the teaching of general humanitarian disciplines in higher education institutions. The authors draw conclusions about the nature of the emerging trends and ways to solve ethical issues using the example of the state of teaching general humanitarian disciplines in higher education institutions.
