The paper analyzes the problem of etiquette in comic communication. Comic discourse may be judged as appropriate or inappropriate, neutral or offensive. The proposed solution of the problem is based on the author's typology of comicity, which uses the theoretical achievements of Jean-Paul, Z. Freud, M.M. Bakhtin and later theorists. Comic phenomena can be divided into simple (when the effect of the funny is the ultimate goal of the game) and complex (tendentious). Among the latter, the humor of the mocking type, which is usually identified with satire, is most fully described in aesthetic literature. Meanwhile, the analysis shows that the trend may be associated with the functions of philosophical criticism of thinking, the implementation of a forbidden communicative intention, or the representation of universal mythological meanings. The described varieties of tendentious comics are manifested in literature and folklore, and also in modern media. The matter of the analysis is the performances within the framework of the television humorous games "The Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful" (comic numbers of the KVN Team of the Perm region for 2021). An analysis of the themes and functional varieties of comedy makes it possible to describe the stereotypical comic image of the region, which includes stable themes (province), character masks (gopnik), and speech means (the use of urban vernacular). A contour description of the comic etiquette characteristic of the media products of the First Channel of Russian Television is given; the conclusion is made about the predominance of recreational (simple) laughter in this comic etiquette, the active use of humor to overcome communication prohibitions. In conclusion, a distinction is made between the concepts of "comic etiquette" and "comic style", and the practical value of studying comic etiquette in popular culture is described.
