Ethical and anthropological foundations of modern education

Бесплатный доступ

The article substantiates the idea that the current education system should be aimed at the rehabilitation and revival of the traditional anthropological image of a person. This is due to the fact that posthuman ideologies are widespread in the modern world, setting the task of fundamentally transforming a person at all levels (biological, mental, ethical, spiritual, social). The goal is to achieve a state that is characterized by such parameters as physical immortality, ideal health, high cognitive abilities, modification of gender identity. This means the actual disappearance of a person, since he is deprived of the most important ethical and existential characteristics associated with the comprehension of his death. The connection of posthuman anthropology with postmodernist intuitions of «human death» is shown. It is proposed to turn to the rich experience of Russian philosophy, which is traditionally called anthropocentric and egocentric.
