The etiological structure of the chronic bronchitis

The article examines the structure of microorganisms causing chronic bronchitis. Chronic bronchitis occurs against the background of long-term irritation of the bronchi (smoking, dust, smoke, etc.), which leads to changes in their mucous membrane and facilitates the penetration of infections (viruses, bacteria, fungi). Inflammatory process, existing for a certain time, can cause structural changes in the bronchi. In the case of further progression of inflammation, the process becomes chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Therefore, the study of the etiological structure of chronic bronchitis allows for the correct administration of antibiotics.
