Ethno-cultural features of the communicative behaviour of foreign students in a foreign cultural educational environment

The article is devoted to the problems of the influence of ethnocultural characteristics of academic migrants from Armenia and Belarus on their communicative behaviour when studying at a Russian university. The relevance of the research carried out by the authors is due to insufficient knowledge of the causes of communicative failures of foreign students in the academic environment. The article discusses the concept of ethnocentrism and its impact on the communicative behaviour of students in the process of adaptation to new conditions of life and learning. The authors reveal the causes of the communicative problems of academic migrants from neighboring countries at a Russian university during the adaptation period and suggest ways to solve them.
