Ethnopsychological principle of learning as an element of socio-cultural adaptation of students from Uzbekistan

The academic mobility of students from Uzbekistan in the system of Russian higher engineering education today occupies a certain place in this area due to cultural and economic ties with Russia. Uzbekistan ranks third in terms of the number of foreign students. At the initial stage of training, the question of social, cultural and linguistic adaptation of the contingent starting training arises. This article presents an ethnopsychological portrait of an Uzbek student, identifying “strengths” and “weaknesses” that influence the educational process. Taking into account the above, the experience of implementing independent work within the framework of the academic discipline “Russian language and business communication” at a technical university is described.
