Evidentiality as a criterion for the process of subjective meaning comprehension

The paper applies the psycholinguistic approach to studies of the evidentiality phenomenon. This allows to investigate the process of meaning comprehension as an activity carried out by an active “witness” using inner pegs of sense-formation (perceptive, cognitive, emotional, evaluative, verbal and non-verbal) as inner sources of information.
