The evolutionary path of e-business in China - from imitation to innovation

China's E-business started from imitating the United States, but in the development and evolution of adapting to the national conditions, it has formed its own characteristics and explored a differential development path. It is thanks to the strong support of this unique path from the Chinese state and society that China's electronic business has quickly reached great heights in development. Based on the data, this article portrays three distinct characteristics of E-business in China. The first is to maintain extraordinary growth for a long time, the second is that the platform model is absolutely dominant, and the third is the highly concentrated market competition structure. These findings provide a reference for the subsequent exploration of the social experience and development trends of E-business in China in economic sociology.
