Heuristic appeal to the historical and pedagogical understanding of innovations in education is determined by the possibility of their knowledge in the space of the past and present pedagogical culture of mankind, allowing to trace their origins and relationships with other pedagogical phenomena, to determine the values and meanings of specific innovations, to take into account the existing successes and shortcomings in the formulation and solution of problems of training and education of the younger generations.
