The relevance of the study is due to a number of reasons. Initially, there was a need to develop preventive and restorative measures to eliminate unwanted sensations in the thoracic and lumbar spine, excessive tension in the trapeziums muscles during elective classes in kettlebell lifting. Despite the close attention to the technique of performing exercises, to the development of target muscles, joints and ligaments, to the dosing of training and compensatory loads, recovery measures, a small number of athletes still had undesirable sensations in the above areas. To eliminate these phenomena, in the final part of the training session, it was decided to introduce a set of asanas from yoga practices instead of the usual stretching exercises. It should be noted that in the optional classes, the interest of students in the final part of the lesson has increased. If earlier exercises were performed without much concentration, as they say "on the machine", then after detailed regulation on a number of parameters, athletes began to treat the hitch very carefully, as something new that brings tangible benefits. Next, using the developed complex of exercises of yoga practices in the final part of training sessions elective and received a positive result, there was a desire to carry out the final part of lessons in physical culture and sports with the students of basic medical group in the same format for the planning sessions, hoping for similar results is to improve the quality of training overall, to increase the interest of the student, facilitate the full disclosure of genetically determined growth potential.
