The life and work of H. Hesse was significantly influenced by Baroque and classical music. Based on the established stereotype of the favorite composers of Hesse - J. S. Bach and W. A. Mozart, the assumption is made about the synthesis of the arts as a multicomponent connection of “ Journey to the land of the East” with “Magic flute” of the Viennese classic by means of numerous motional and plot-plot analogies between the work of H. Hesse and the libretto by E. Schikaneder to the Opera. In order to find deep connections of different cultural texts in the Hessian novel, an attempt was made to interpret the works of Hesse and Mozart in a C. G. Jung’s way.
H. hesse, "journey to the land of the east", v.a. mozart, text of culture, artistic synthesis, c. g. jung, individuation, anima and animus
