Juvenile justice: some aspects of its formation and development

The article analyzes the features of the formation and development of juvenile justice in the Russian Federation. The conclusion is justified that minors who have committed a crime, due to the incompleteness of the formation of their personality, are not able to fully independently exercise their procedural rights and require protection and special treatment. Based on the results of the study, the concept of juvenile justice is formulated, and the main directions of its development in the Russian Federation are determined.
