In this article the authors analyze the monograph by Arnold Isaevich Arnoldov, dedicating it to the 110th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding scholar, Russian cultural studies expert, Doctor of Philosophy, and professor who worked for many years at the Moscow State Institute of Culture and founded the first Department of Cultural Theory and History in the USSR. They examine the role of a humanistic worldview in the education of youth, as well as a rich cultural heritage that affirms universal human values. They advance a fundamentally new perspective on the development of national cultures in the context of globalization. The relevance of this monograph to the current stage of our society's development is emphasized.
