On the philosophical foundations of didactics

The article presents a critical analysis of the acute pedagogical problem of "applying knowledge in practice", proving its irrationality. The author points to the relevance of the shift in the theoretical foundations of the educational process towards the philosophical category of activity, which eliminates the dissociation of knowledge and the application of this knowledge in practice as two unrelated abilities. Ideal activity in the process of systems modeling solves the problem under consideration.
