History of peasant gardening development in Simbirsk province

The article considers the history of development and peculiarities of peasant gardening in Simbirsk province (mid XVII - early XX century), the organization of agronomic assistance to Simbirsk gardeners provided by the government of the Russian Federation and the bodies of Simbirsk provincial government. The author mentions the participation of V.V. Pashkevich, A.D. Voeikov, S.S. Rogozin and others in the study and development of Simbirsk gardening.
