The study of toponymy of the oirats and the Kalmyks (XVII-XVIII cc.)

The article which for the first time looks at toponyms.the solitary tree on the Or. river., is based on the Oirat historical work.The History of Kho-Urlyuk., archive documents, and the works by the Ucranian poet T. Shevchenko. It is concluded that it was the name of a place in the south of the Ural Mountains, which played a large part in the history of the Oirats and the Kalmyks in XVII.XVIII cc.
