About the formation of professional competence of modern Mongolian teachers

The development of any country depends on quality of education system, which in turn is determined by teachers’ professional competence. The problem of teacher sustainable development directly at the workplace is the focus of modern educational system of Mongolia. The legal basis for implementation of this provision at institutions of primary and secondary education is one of the last documents concerning advanced professional training and methodical assistance to regional and national organizations at the workplace. Article 22.3 of the Law on Primary and Secondary Education formulates the problem as follows: "despite the desire of development at the workplace teachers do not find adequate methods for it" In the article, we show how to use new approaches to solving this problem, and what new issues arise in terms of improving professional competence of the teacher.
