On the aspect of compiling a reader of contemporary English literature for schools with the advanced level of the English language studies

The article deals with the question of elaborating a special Reader for schoolchildren who study English thoroughly according to the special academic program. It illustrates how the formation of didactics (as a process of mastering established texts of foreign fiction) develops the cultivation of the native language in general.
