On substantiating the concept of training the personality of a service member

The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-philosophical and pedagogical aspects of the training of the personality of military personnel. This topic is interdisciplinary and includes a fairly wide range of issues, but the author pays attention to socio-pedagogical aspects. Modern Armed Forces of the Russian Federation impose high moral, volitional, intellectual, physical and psychological requirements on the personality of a service member. There are special units that are engaged in educational work which help to form these competencies in the army. Pedagogical activity in the army has its own peculiarities related to the specifics of military service. Educational work in the army is a synthesis of classical pedagogical theories and modern requirements for the personality of military personnel.
