To the issue of using digital mixing consoles in the process of professional training of sound engineers

The article considers the advantages and disadvantages of using professional digital equipment in the process of training students majoring in 51.05.01 «Sound engineering of cultural mass performances and concert programs). The main goal of the article is to study various aspects of digital technologies used in the educational process, solidify theoretical knowledge and acquire pracrtical abilities and skills that contribute to the formation of professional competencies.
