The main goal of the article is to identify common grounds and stable sacramentological concepts in the works of representatives of Orthodox theological personalism, which concern the doctrine of church sacraments. A key theme is the question of a unified model within personalist sacramentology. The author comes to the conclusion that there are synonymous features and approaches in the views on the place and role of sacraments in Christian life, as well as a steady aspiration to understand the sacrament as a catalyst for the transformation of man and the formation of a personal way of existence in him. The concept of the sacrament as a means of manifestation of the personal principle in man, which becomes available to him through his accession to God - the reality of a genuine dialog of love - has been consistently developed by many authors (P. N. Evdokimov, Archpriest Dumitru Staniloae, Archimandrite Sophronius (Sakharov), Metropolitan John (Zizioulas), Ch. Yannaras). Special attention is paid to the original view of the representatives of theological personalism on the semantic content of the Orthodox mystical tradition and the concept of mysticism itself. The present work is intended to contribute to the study of theological personalism through a systematic analysis of the interpretation by personalist theologians of the doctrine of the Church’s sacraments. The author concludes by outlining possible ways of deepening the study of personalistic issues, including interdisciplinary and critical-analytical lines of work.
