The article deals with the formation of readiness for professional activity of law students in the organization of the educational process in a professional educational organization. Theoretical approaches and trends in the process of forming students ' readiness for professional activity are revealed, which are related to the features of the content and structure of readiness for professional activity as a complex, multicomponent phenomenon, including qualification and psychological characteristics.
