To the question of the illicit traffic mechanism narcotic drugs, psychotropic and potent substances committed using information and telecommunications technologies

The article deals with criminological significant aspects of the mechanism of illicit drug trafficking committed using information and telecommunication technologies and means of remote communication. Ways to carry out criminal «business» of this kind, structural construction and functionality of links of organized criminal groups are being investigated. The results obtained by the author can be used in the formation of a forensic characteristic of crimes of this type, as well as in the development of a set of preventive measures, including in the information and telecommunications space of the global Internet.
