The scientific article is devoted to measures of prevention of emergencies in special police institutions. Determining the relevance of the topic, the author proceeds from the fact that emergencies that occur in special police institutions pose a considerable public danger. This necessitates the study of the problems of the activities of the internal affairs bodies for the prevention of emergencies in special police institutions. The author refers to the regulatory and law enforcement aspects of the implementation of preventive measures used in special police institutions. According to the author, it is advisable to develop an appropriate program, in which the forms of preventive action should be filled with specific content, taking into account the personal characteristics of various categories of persons held in special police institutions. The author pays special attention to the functioning of psychological services in special police institutions, as well as issues of preventive accounting.
