To the question of the place of police in the modern system of law enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation

Law enforcement is a type of state activity that is carried out with the aim of protecting the law by specially authorized bodies by applying legal measures of influence in accordance with the law and in strict observance of the procedure established by it. However, it should be noted that the mistakes made at the initial stage of the country's reform, and among them the underestimation of the crime factor as a relatively independent and specific social phenomenon, led to a serious criminalization of the economy and other spheres of life of society and*the*sta*te.
