To the question of methodology of state support and state regulation of agriculture

The article describes the characteristics of effective forms, institutions, mechanisms and tools to effectively regulate and maintain sustainable growth in agricultural production in different years of climatic and economic conditions. This system of measures is quite flexible and mobile, it is adapted to various conditions. The authors substantiated that in a market economy, indicative planning and national programming are the main tools for the state to achieve its strategic macroeconomic goals. At the same time, each enterprise is guided by the state’s indicators, in its plans and programs, indicators, guidelines and taking into account its production and financial resources, they choose for themselves the strategic goals of their own development. In our opinion, ecological and social effects should be added as criteria for state regulation. In recent years, with the saturation of the market with agricultural products, an objective trend has emerged consisting in the further differentiation and segmentation of demand. Proved the need to strengthen government support and incentives, deepen the processing and differentiation of demand and the development of new market segments. Approaches in the state regulation of the use of high-tech and digital technologies also need to be adjusted.
