To the question on the name as basic nominative unit of speech

The article deals with the name as a linguistic phenomenon. The thesis is put forward that in speech elements, unlike language system, as a basic nominative unit is a word, and the name of an extra-linguistic reality fragment which can be both mono- and poly-lexical.
