To the question of the concept and essence of crimes in the field of customs in the conditions of informatization of society

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the previously given definitions of "customs crimes", the author's concept of "customs crime" is presented, the essence of a socially dangerous act in the field of customs regulation in the conditions of digitalization of society is determined. Statistics of crimes committed in the field of customs are given. The differentiation of crimes attributed to the competence of customs authorities is presented, as well as the prospects for the transition of the Federal Customs Service to a digital environment.
