On the concept of competence in relation to the customs authorities of the Russian Federation

In article the author considers versatile sights in interpretation of concept "competence". Opening concept of the competence of enforcement authority, the author considered questions of powers; a legal status of customs body; legal fastening of a circle of objects, subjects; competence sources. As a result of the analysis of the points of view of scientists about interpretation of concept "competence", leaning against standard legal certificates in the field of customs business, definition of the competence of customs bodies is offered.
