On the question of the right to exist the concept of «professional ethics» in law enforcement authorities

The article presents an analysis of some theoretical views on the rationale for singling out professional ethics from the vast field of ethics, which has applied value and fixes the necessary guidelines of moral content and etiquette norms of behavior for officials serving in law enforcement agencies. Focusing on the specific aspects of professional ethics, the authors put forward a hypothesis about the obligation of employees of professional institutions to comply with the requirements of special Codes of Conduct, the basic basis of which is the moral-law dichotomy.
