To the question of the legal regulation of the development of physical culture and sport in the Russian Federation

The article examines the problems of realizing the right of everyone to access to physical culture and sports and legal regulation in this area. The novelties of legislation related to the introduction of the concept of "fitness center" are considered. The author draws attention to the lack of balance in guaranteeing the right to engage in physical culture and sports as separate types of physical activity, in connection with which the lack of legal regulation of physical education of persons who are not professionally involved in sports is stated.
