The nature of restoration enforcement measures to secure the rights and private interests of the people injured in the criminal acts. The article considers the questions of restoration of the rights of the injured, the problem of legal nature of measures for compensation of harm: they are criminal, civil and procedural. The author comes to the conclusion that compensation of harm caused by criminal action is a separate criminal procedure institution.
