On the question of signs of a crime in article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Occupation of the highest position in the criminal hierarchy”

Using the example of Article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the consolidation in the legislation of a norm that essentially provides for punishment for finding a person in the framework of public relations is analyzed. While according to Article 14 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, punishment is provided for a socially dangerous act. It is concluded that the provisions of articles 210 and 210.1 contradict the basic principles and foundations of criminal law.
