On the issue of law enforcement practice in civil rights protection in the Russian Federation

The author of the article examines ways to protect civil rights in the Russian Federation and identifies problems that arise in law enforcement practice in their protection. The author identified such problems as various terminology of doctrine and practice, questions about supplementing the list of methods of protection established in Art. 12 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, identification of unnamed methods of protecting civil rights and other problems. It was concluded that it is necessary to bring the list of self-defense methods in the law in line with the established modern practice.
