To the issue of «procedural guidance» in the system of criminal proceedings functions

The article considers the content of supervisory activity in brining criminal actions, and also at the initial stage of investigation of these cases, legal mechanisms of protection of personal immunity and freedom. The author analyses changes introduced into the Criminal-Procedural Code of Russian Federation and proposes ways of problems solution.
