In this article we studied the benefit of the application of Naropin® intraperitoneally and in supra-pleural block in a septic peritonitis. Results showed that the supra-pleural block using Naropin® before the induction of peritonitis caused a significant decrease in the inflammatory process, while injection of the local anesthetic intraperitoneally or in the supa-pleural place after the induction of peritonitis not showed anti-inflammatory effect.
