Development of child and youth sci-tech creativity

Innovative development of the modern economy of any state is impossible without scientific and technological progress. Modernization of all spheres of production and introduction of innovation requires highly qualified engineering personnel; this makes the issue of their search, education, and, therefore, development of child and youth scientific and technological creativity relevant, as it is necessary to educate future engineers as soon as possible. The purpose of the research is to study the prospects for developing child and youth sci-tech creativity. To achieve this goal, the following objectives are set and addressed: consider modern approaches to the concept of sci-tech creativity, highlight the distinctive features of sci-tech creativity from other types of creativity, analyze the indicators of development of this area in supplementary education in Russia.
