To the question of ways to protect business reputation of legal entities in light of improvement of Russian civil law

In the article, the author analyzed the methods used in practice to protect the business reputation of legal entities in the light of the improvement of Russian civil law. The classification of such methods into general and special methods of protection specified in Article 152 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation has been determined. The author identified some problems in the practical use of such methods of protecting business reputation as bringing refutation to users of the Internet and removing copies of material media of defamatory information.
