On the question of interaction of law enforcement authorities in the field of migration

The authors note that the relevance of the study of the issues of interaction of law enforcement agencies in the field of migration is due to the problems and contradictions that arise in their practical activities in connection with the specifics of the legal regulation of the activities of various law enforcement agencies. The need for modernization of migration legislation, including the improvement of the interaction of all state bodies, predetermines the objectives of the study, which are to analyze the legal basis, forms, methods, principles and main directions of interaction of law enforcement agencies in the field of migration. Having analyzed the categorical apparatus, the authors come to the conclusion that in the legal science there is no uniform understanding of this legal phenomenon. The authors in the article analyze a number of normative acts, thanks to which different forms, types and levels of interaction of law enforcement agencies in the field of migration are highlighted. In conclusion, the authors propose to fix at the legislative level the definition “interaction of law enforcement agencies in the field of migration”.
