The relevance of the research is due to the importance of a deep and comprehensive understanding of the physiological processes that occur in the bodies of athletes engaged in weight lifting. The work is aimed at identifying patterns and features of adaptive capabilities of kettlebells under the influence of certain training loads. This allows you to optimize the training process. The research on this topic was conducted at the Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications. In total, this study processed the results of performances at competitions in kettlebell lifting at various levels of fifty students, special attention is paid to the performance of the national team of the University. As a result, certain patterns associated with the method of training were identified. Of particular importance are training sessions for two or three micro cycles before the start. Taking into account the work previously done by the athlete, his individual adaptive capabilities, having conducted a number of training sessions against the background of under-recovery and accurately calculating the time needed for rest, it is possible with a fairly high probability to bring the athlete to optimal physical shape by the time of start.
