The article presents information that allows to actualize the phenomenon of family consciousness, which is currently untreated in pedagogical discourse. The attempt is made to justify the phenomenon, important for educational science, due to the possibility of its use for the solution of conceptual and practical challenges arising from the urgent need for the formation of family consciousness among youth in the context of multi-paradigm character of modern society.
