Forensic ballistics expertise and its information support

In most cases, weapons whose invention directly influenced the emergence of forensic ballistics are considered to be the tools of a criminal offense. This research paper examines the issue of the current information support for forensic ballistics expertise. The results of the article are to highlight certain prospects for the development of identification and non-identification information systems.
