The remote format has significantly changed traditional notions of interpersonal communication, contributed to the emergence of a new human orientation in the world, influenced values, ideas about individual freedom and self-realization, enriched our communication and pushed the possibilities of new contacts almost to the limit. People have long mastered interpersonal communication and the rules of business ethics, however, with the transition to a remote mode of work, a number of problems of remote communication have emerged, related to the need to maintain interaction without direct personal contact between students and teachers for a long time, as well as problems with the use of etiquette in virtual space. Among the urgent problems of remote communication are the negative impact of modern means of information technologies on a human's psychological well-being and health, Internet addiction, the difficulty of preserving a person's individuality and uniqueness, alienation from reality, and the disregard for Russian language norms in contextual digital communication. These problems require an ethical assessment and the development of principles and norms of behavior in the information space of modern society.
