On the issue of object and subject of political linguistics and political lingua-cultural science

The author aims at defining the object and subject, as well as aims of political linguistics and political lingua-cultural science. It is shown that the term «policy» when used in scientific discourse is associated not only with the notion but points out to a macro-concept, which can be investigated mainly by means of lingua-cultural, but not by a political-science analysis. The article results in dynamic revelation of the concept in Russian linguistic consciousness.
