The study of the shift work method is relevant due to its widespread use at remote production facilities. The essence is to analyze specifics of regulating shift workers' time and substantiate the need for cumulative accounting to compensate uneven employment. Key conclusions: shift work requires cumulative time accounting over extended periods up to 1 year; the employer must maintain personalized records, schedule shifts, pay overtime; compliance with rest and vacation norms is crucial for social protection of shift workers.
