On the issue of assessing the formation of general competencies among students of professional educational organizations

The present day, the state, through regulatory documents, has clearly formalized a request for the training of a specialist who has not only professionally significant qualities, but also personal resources for an active civic position. In this regard, the problem of assessing common competencies as a result of the development of an educational program by students has been actualized, which is primarily associated with the lack of a single mechanism and tools for assessment. The article presents an analysis of approaches to assessing the common competencies of students in professional educational organizations, in particular, their decomposition, structure, formation of the assessment mechanism, selection of tools for assessment. The author briefly describes an algorithm, a sequence of actions for the formation of a mechanism for assessing common competencies on the example of the competence of OK 7: “Promote the preservation of the environment, resource conservation, effectively act in emergency situations”. The examples of specific assessment techniques are given. The emphasis is on the need to develop an integral systemic mechanism that provides variability in assessing the level of formation of common competencies in accordance with innovative trends and challenges of our time.
