There is a well-founded opinion (B.S. Gershunsky) that education is a key «agent» of the future. It plays an important role in the formation of knowledge, skills, personality traits, worldview and behavior of each student. Ultimately, this affects the economic, moral and spiritual potential of the society. Education and society are closely linked because education is a social institution and one of its substructures. The content of the educational process reflects the actual state of the society. Currently, we are witnessing a transition from an industrial to a post-industrial or information society, where creativity, necessary for the formation of new, effective thinking, becomes an important quality of every personality. In this regard, the public demands of society direct domestic pedagogy and the educational sphere for upbringing creative personalities and developing their abilities. The problem of forming the creative personality in university students has always been relevant, but today it is especially acute, as skilled workers with a high level of creative potential are able to solve research problems non-linearly and introduce innovative content into the social reality, creating new unique vectors of society’s development.
