On implementing the national project "Sambo in School" in the city of Ulan-Ude

The article presents an analysis of implementing the Federal Project "Sambo in School" as the third lesson of physical training in general educational institutions of basic education in the city of Ulan-Ude of the Republic of Buryatia. This national project is aimed at popularizing such a type of martial arts as sambo among young people, which not only increases the indicators of physical qualities, but also cultivate the patriotic values in citizens of the Russian Federation. The implementation of the project "Sambo in School" contributes to raising strong, healthy and patriotic youth, as well as to preserving of region’s cultural values.
