The purpose of our studies was to study the effect of postpartum cow endometritis on milk quality indicators. As a result of the research, it was found that in JSC "Rodina" of the Bryansk region, the breeding stock of cattle is subject to obstetric and gynecological diseases. The most common is postpartum endometritis, the share of which in the structure of morbidity is 30.9-35.4%. As a result of the conducted experimental studies, it was found that the milk of cows with postpartum endometritis does not differ much in organoleptic parameters from clinically healthy cows. According to the physico-chemical properties, the milk of sick animals differs significantly from clinically healthy cows. It notes a decrease in the mass fraction of protein, fat, milk sugar, dry matter, SOMO. Sanitary and hygienic indicators of milk of sick cows are characterized by an increase in the number of somatic cells by 5.1 times and bacterial contamination of milk by 2 times.
