The quality of general education in the region and university students progress

The authors compared the high school certificate grades and the results of General State Examination in Physics with the records of university first year students. The obtained statistic data allowed the authors to prove the opinion of university professors regarding poor readiness of the graduates of comprehensive high schools for studying at universities
